Welcome to Streatham Guitar, a series of group courses for adults and teens aged 15 and up.
The focus of each course is on teaching you well-known songs and building your musicality at a relaxed pace in a supportive environment. The weekly 60-minute sessions are supplemented with helpful paper handouts, sheet music and video resources to keep you on track.

Why should I choose a course over individual lessons?
They are extremely good value for money, many people love the social element of learning in a group, and having a group to keep you accountable can boost your motivation to practice.
Do I need my own guitar?
Not for the Beginner Course - you can borrow one from us to practise at home, with the option to buy it at the end.
What is included in each course?
10 weekly group sessions, 60 minutes each. The maximum group size is 3 students. You will also get weekly handouts and videos to aid your home practice.
Where and when do the courses take place?
My teaching studio is on Barrow Road; just next to Streatham Common. Courses are on weekends and evenings.
Are group courses suitable for children?
These courses are for adults or young people aged 15+. If your child is interested in learning guitar, I would recommend booking in a free consultation session.
